Nate & Kim: 13 Questions and a New Love Soundtrack

Nate Varvatos, aka ATTNWH0RE, the producer/DJ turned singer-songwriter, built his name in the booth—DJing, producing, and setting the tone in some of the loudest, most intimate rooms you could find. But with his new project Sound Boy Killing, he’s stepping into something deeper: singing, writing, telling his own stories instead of just spinning them. The journey and evolution haven’t gone unnoticed. Most notably, a surprise placement on Frank Ocean’s Homer Radio show. Without warning, the track aired—a quiet co-sign that hit different. For an artist still building, it wasn’t just validation. It was alignment.

It’s Friday night and Nate’s showing Kim different functions on the DJ setup ahead of her debut DJ set. There’s music playing, but the real entertainment is in the way they talk to each other—teasing, challenging, cracking up in between the music. The Twitch live is rolling. The drinks are half gone. Someone in the comments just said, “Y’all need your own show,” and honestly, they’re not wrong. Between weed smoke and song transitions, Nate and Kim slip into something else—something free. The kind of back-and-forth that only happens when two people know each other too well to play it cool.

Welcome to the frequency of Nate & Kim.
